Three days ago I felt like super mom.
Throwing rocks at the beach with my son
While my daughter slept in the stroller in the fresh air, with just a splatter of rain.

Nine years came and went last week without much fan fare.
Less people messaged, I myself felt less affected
There was not weeks of lead up dread like in years previous
Nine years ago my mother died
And yet, the world is moving on
Even I am moving
